We are a small business specialising in animal and African inspired figurines and gifts which are not generally available in UK stores, or for that matter European stores. We mainly sell at craft fairs and online; to keep prices down we do not normally sell through retailers.

Where our figurines represent an endangered species we will make a small donation to an appropriate wildlife charity (See product description).

We source products that offer exceptional quality and beauty whether they are animal figurines,  homeware items or African bangles. Many of our products are hand-made, adding to their uniqueness and durability.

Our real bronze sculptures make wonderful statement pieces for the home or for display, the sort of pieces that are becoming increasingly popular and you can’t ignore.  Produced by the traditional “lost wax” process and with expert workmanship, superior materials and careful attention to design and finishing our range is second to none.

Each sculpture is expertly finished by hand to create its unique details. The sculpture then receives an advanced protective coating, a technology that has been developed in the USA. Further extensive finishing work is carried out by specialists in South Africa including an anti-tarnish treatment followed by the painstaking process of hand painting the contrasting detailing onto the silver plated sculptures, or hand polishing the classic bronze finished pieces. You will not be disappointed with these beautiful durable sculptures.

Our Cold Cast Bronze figurines are produced using a bonded limestone mix, which, once cast and cured, creates a strong and durable material similar to ceramic. A thin coat of bronze on the surface gives the piece the look and feel of real bronze which is enhanced by hand to add emphasis and contrast.

Our bronzed range are superior pieces. Our “Zawadi” range bears a surprising amount of detail. Unlike some inferior figurines found on the market today, there are no ugly joins and because the bronze finish is not just painted on, they will not fade or tarnish.

Each animal figurine is crafted from heavy solid pewter and then given a thin layer of copper. This layer of copper creates a surface that is ideal for electroplating the brushed satin-finish pewter. The end result is a beautiful stylised figurine ready for display or even for use as a classy paperweight.

Our enamelled bangles are made to the highest quality standards and are hinged for easy fitting. The range is plated in gold and silver finishes with baked enamel details in contemporary African designs and colours.  The quality of plating used ensures years of tarnish free wear.

Our ostrich leather bangles offer the luxury of exotic premium leather, detailed with genuine 17 facet Swarovski crystals. The unique combination of leather, white bronze* and crystals provides a wonderful opulent effect.  Each bangle has a protective coating which renders it water resistant and gives the leather a lustrous sheen that offers years of beautiful wear.

The range is certified nickel and lead free. All chemicals and dyes used on the leathers are certified to be REACH compliant by international standards. The leather is carefully  sourced from the two largest ostrich leather tanneries in the world, in Oudtshoorn, South Africa.  No ostriches are hunted for their skins.

This range of superior quality decorative aluminium ware is sand-cast using traditional manufacturing methods. Each item is handmade and exclusively crafted to produce a selection of exquisite contemporary designs. The range is food safe approved (“FDA”).

*  “white bronze” is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc – it is similar to rhodium in appearance and, unlike silver, does not tarnish
